Bathtub is well known as soaking tubs by the people. Generally, it is made of acrylic or fiberglass materials with various designs and sizes. There are also other materials; those are metal with enamel coating or wooden with water resistant coating. Actually, not all people using bathtub in their bathrooms. There are also people who like using shower than bathtub because of some reasons. Shower is usually preferred by people who are simple and practical. But there are many people who like using bathtub to relax their body while taking a bath after hard day. They choose to soak their body using perfumed soap in order to make them relax and calm.
Based on its usage, there are two types of bathtub variations; western and eastern style. Western bathtub is used in a lying position so that the shape is more shallow and long. And eastern bathtub that is usually called as ofuro (has meaning bath in Japanese). It is used in an upright sitting position so that the shape deeper and shorter. In addition to these two variations, there are also other shapes of bathtub designs. Please be smart in choosing right shape to put in your bathroom. The most bathtub designs that are used by people are regular bathtub which has rectangular shape and it can be put in every corner of bathroom. The sizes are also various according to the needs. There is also corner bathtub which is save the space and very suitable for small bathroom.
Other bathtub design is clawfoot bathtub. This bathtub is not tied in the bathroom. It has four foot that is why it is called clawfoot. This clawfoot bathtub is usually has small size and it can be moved according to our favorite spot. It has been used in classic era and generally it was decorated with typical ornaments. Many people choose it in dark color for outside and white color for inside. Because of this reason, it is very suitable applied for bathroom which has contemporary and classic concept. It is also suitable for small bathroom because it is very simple and minimalist but looks elegant.
